Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping activities in production areas, warehouses, offices, meeting rooms, washrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, equipment surfaces, furniture, and other designated areas.
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
- Ensure housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials, and consumables are adequately stocked and properly maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness around machinery, production lines, and storage areas as instructed by supervisors.
- Assist in cleaning during maintenance shutdowns, inspections, audits, and special housekeeping activities.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
- Follow all company safety rules, hygiene standards, and housekeeping procedures.
- Support general cleaning and facility-related tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain proper use and care of cleaning tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, 5S, and workplace safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or general helper roles in manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of workplace hygiene and safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
