Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading materials received from suppliers and internal departments.
- Arrange and stack materials in designated storage locations as instructed by the Store Supervisor.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and identifying materials against delivery documents.
- Support the issuance of raw materials, consumables, inks, adhesives, cylinders, spare parts, and other items to production departments.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stored materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the store, racks, aisles, and storage areas.
- Help in physical stock counting, cycle counts, and annual inventory activities.
- Move materials safely using hand pallet trucks or other approved material-handling equipment.
- Separate damaged or rejected materials and report them to the Store Supervisor.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices wherever applicable.
- Assist in packing, wrapping, and preparing materials for dispatch or internal transfer.
- Ensure safe handling of materials to prevent damage or contamination.
- Comply with company safety policies, PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Supervisor or Store Manager.
Qualifications
- High school education preferred.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an advantage.
