Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of the lamination department.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan and schedule.
Monitor solvent-based, solventless, and extrusion lamination processes as applicable.
Ensure product quality standards and customer specifications are maintained.
Oversee machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting activities.
Monitor adhesive preparation, coating weight, bond strength, and curing processes.
Optimize machine efficiency, productivity, and material utilization.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production Planning, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, GMP, 5S, and company policies.
Investigate and minimize production defects, waste, and downtime.
Prepare daily production reports and maintain departmental records.
Train, guide, and evaluate machine operators and production staff.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed in coordination with the maintenance team.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of solvent-based, solventless, and/or extrusion lamination processes.
Familiarity with flexible packaging materials, adhesives, and quality standards.
