Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Printing Operator in machine setup, changeovers, and production runs.
- Prepare inks, solvents, cylinders, sleeves, and printing materials as per job specifications.
- Load and unload substrates such as BOPP, PET, PE, and other flexible packaging materials.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities to the Operator or Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining print quality, color consistency, and registration throughout production.
- Conduct routine quality checks and record production data as required.
- Ensure proper cleaning of printing units, ink trays, cylinders, and related equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the printing area following 5S practices.
- Follow company safety policies, GMP, and quality procedures.
- Assist in minimizing material wastage and production downtime.
- Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in a flexible packaging printing environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of rotogravure or flexographic printing processes.
- Familiarity with printing inks, solvents, and packaging substrates.
- Ability to work in shifts and under production targets.
