Role Overview
As a Blow Film Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of blow film extrusion machinery. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, collaborating closely with production and quality teams to contribute to efficient film manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate blow film extrusion lines according to work orders.
- Monitor machine output to ensure film quality, gauge, and width specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and material flow.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and material usage.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and workplace cleanliness.
- Work with the quality department to address non-conformities.
Must have requirements
- Proven experience as a Blow Film Operator or similar role in plastic film manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of blow film extrusion processes and machine settings.
- Ability to identify and address common machine faults independently.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a shift-based onsite environment.
Nice to have requirements
- Technical diploma or background in mechanical engineering or plastics processing.
- Experience with advanced multi-layer extrusion lines.
- Previous exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques for polymer films.
- Ability to train and mentor junior operators.

1) Minimum ITI or diploma
