Job description
Machine Operation
- Set up and operate the Solvent-Based Combi Laminator according to job specifications.
- Verify job orders, material specifications, adhesive systems, and process parameters before production.
- Monitor machine performance, web tension, coating weight, temperature, and drying conditions throughout production.
- Ensure proper winding, roll quality, and bonding strength of laminated structures.
- Perform job changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimum wastage and maximum machine efficiency.
Adhesive Preparation & Process Control
- Prepare and mix adhesives, hardeners, and solvents according to approved formulations and ratios.
- Monitor adhesive viscosity, coating weight, and bond strength during production.
- Ensure compliance with solvent handling and storage procedures.
- Maintain records of adhesive consumption and process parameters.
