Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, unloading, shifting, and storing raw materials.
- Support the Storekeeper in arranging and organizing raw materials in designated locations.
- Handle packaging raw materials such asfilms, rolls, inks, chemicals, adhesives, and other production materialsas instructed.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials from the RM Store to production departments as per material requirements.
- Ensure materials are properly stacked, identified, and stored safely.
- Assist with physical stock counting and inventory checks.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO and proper storage procedures where applicable.
- Check materials for visible damage during receiving and report discrepancies to the Storekeeper.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the RM Store.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining proper records and documentation related to material movement.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Storekeeper or Warehouse Supervisor.
Requirements
- 10th / 12th standard preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in awarehouse, raw material store, manufacturing, or factory environmentpreferred.
- Flexible packaging or printing industry experience will be an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to handle material movement and manual work.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and material handling.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.
- Good discipline, teamwork, and ability to follow instructions.
