Job description

Key Responsibilities

Operate flexographic/rotogravure printing machines as per production requirements.
Set up printing jobs according to approved specifications, artwork, and customer requirements.
Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and overall machine performance during production.
Prepare and adjust inks, cylinders, sleeves, and other printing materials.
Perform machine start-up, changeovers, and shutdown procedures efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance of printing equipment.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for major breakdowns.
Ensure production targets are achieved while minimizing waste and downtime.
Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and quality documentation.
Follow all quality, safety, housekeeping, and company procedures.
Coordinate with quality control, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the printing area.

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience operating printing machines in the flexible packaging industry.
Experience in flexographic and/or rotogravure printing operations is preferred.
Knowledge of printing inks, substrates, color matching, and print quality standards.
