Job description

Key Responsibilities

Operate inspection and rewinding machines according to approved operating procedures.
Inspect finished or semi-finished materials for defects, damage, contamination, printing errors, dimensions, or other quality issues.
Set up the machine according to product specifications, including roll width, tension, speed, length, and other required parameters.
Perform rewinding of rolls while maintaining proper alignment, tension, roll quality, and appearance.
Identify and segregate defective or non-conforming materials.
Mark, label, and record rejected or defective products as required.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during the production process.
Ensure correct roll length, width, winding direction, core size, and roll appearance.
Complete production, inspection, wastage, and rejection records accurately.
Report machine problems, material defects, and quality issues to the supervisor.
Carry out basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine operator-level maintenance.
Ensure the machine and surrounding work area are clean and organized.
Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
Assist with changeovers, roll loading/unloading, and material handling when required.
Minimize material wastage and maintain efficient machine operation.
Follow all company policies and instructions from supervisors.
Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
