Job description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Chemist for a Flexible Packaging company to manage laboratory testing, quality checks, raw material analysis, and production support. The candidate should have strong knowledge of inks, adhesives, solvents, laminates, and flexible packaging processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials, inks, adhesives, solvents, and finished products.
- Monitor product quality during production and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Perform lab trials and maintain accurate test records and reports.
- Check viscosity, bond strength, COF, GSM, sealing strength, and other packaging parameters.
- Support production and quality teams in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality Control and Production departments for process improvement.
- Follow ISO, GMP, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in a Flexible Packaging manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of gravure/flexographic printing, lamination, coating, and packaging materials.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and testing methods.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Working Hours:
- 12 Hours/Rotational Shift / As per company requirement
