Job description

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Lamination Operator in machine setup, changeovers, and production runs.
Prepare and load raw materials such as printed films, adhesives, and cores as per production requirements.
Support adhesive preparation and handling in accordance with work instructions and safety procedures.
Monitor material feeding and winding operations to ensure smooth machine performance.
Help maintain proper web alignment, tension control, and reel handling during production.
Inspect laminated rolls for visual defects such as wrinkles, bubbles, delamination, contamination, and misalignment.
Record production data, material consumption, and machine downtime as instructed.
Assist in maintaining housekeeping standards around the machine and work area.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of finished and semi-finished rolls.
Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental procedures.
Assist in routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance activities.
Report machine abnormalities, quality issues, and safety concerns to the Operator or Supervisor immediately.
Support efforts to minimize waste, improve productivity, and achieve production targets.

Qualifications & Experience

High School Certificate or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in a flexible packaging manufacturing environment, preferably in lamination.
Basic knowledge of solvent-based and/or solventless lamination processes is preferred.
Familiarity with flexible packaging materials such as BOPP, PET, PE, CPP, and Foil is an advantage.
