Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, shifting, and stacking materials.
- Handleraw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, pallets, rolls, and other production materials.
- Move materials between warehouse, production areas, and dispatch locations.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Stack and arrange materials safely in designated warehouse locations.
- Follow warehouse procedures for material identification, storage, and movement.
- Check forklift condition before operation and report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Maintain proper care of the forklift and ensure daily inspection records are completed.
- Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and traffic rules within the facility.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and Logistics teams for timely material movement.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully to avoid damage, especially packaging films, rolls, and finished products.
- Assist with stock movement and physical inventory activities when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in a manufacturing or flexible packaging environment.
- Experience handling packaging materials, film rolls, pallets, and finished goods will be an advantage.
- Valid forklift operating license/certification.
- Good knowledge of warehouse safety and material handling procedures.
- Ability to operate the forklift safely in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and able to work in shifts.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Candidates with stable employment history will be preferred.
