Job description
ob Sequence – Center Seal / 3-Side Seal / Stand-Up Pouch Machine Operator:
- WO & Specification Verification– Verify WO, pouch specification, structure, size, seal type, quantity, approved sample, packing instruction, and other job requirements before starting.
- Material Verification– Check correct film/laminated roll, roll width, length, GSM, surface condition, splice, identification, and ensure material is free from dust, hair, gel, burn particles, and other contamination.
- Material Loading– Mount the correct roll on the machine, ensure proper roll direction, alignment, tension, and safe loading.
- Machine Setting– Set machine parameters including speed, temperature, sealing pressure, dwell time, tension, registration, cutting length, folding, gusset, zipper, punching, and other job-specific settings.
- Machine Trial & First-Off Sample– Run the machine at controlled speed, produce initial samples, check all critical dimensions and quality parameters, and obtain QC/authorized approval before bulk production.
- Production Operation– Operate the machine continuously at optimum speed while maintaining stable machine parameters, productivity, pouch quality, and minimum process waste.
- Online Quality Inspection– Regularly inspect pouch dimensions, seal width, seal strength, cutting, registration, print position, pouch opening, leakage, gusset/bottom formation, zipper alignment, and overall appearance.
- Defect Control– Immediately identify, segregate, and properly mark defective pouches; stop the machine and inform Supervisor/QC in case of repeated or critical defects.
- Production & Waste Control– Achieve planned production, optimize machine speed, minimize setup/changeover time, control material waste, and monitor machine downtime.
- Machine Troubleshooting– Identify minor operational abnormalities, make permitted adjustments, and immediately inform Maintenance/Supervisor for technical problems beyond operator authority.
- Contamination Control– Maintain strict control against dust, hair, foreign particles, burn particles, and other contamination throughout the pouching process.
- Safety & PPE Compliance– Follow all machine safety procedures, wear mandatory PPE, never bypass safety devices/guards, and maintain safe working
